Hermès and Chanel Nail Polish in Makati: What a ₱2,300 Manicure Includes

A regular polish manicure with Hermès or Chanel nail polish costs ₱2,300 at Lavande Nails & Café in Legazpi Village, Makati. That covers cleaning, shaping, your choice of shade from either house, and a slow application in thin coats. A manicure and pedicure together is ₱4,000.

Why use designer polish at all

Hermès and Chanel both make nail polish as part of their beauty lines. Chanel’s Le Vernis has been around for decades and is known for shades that sell out. Hermès added nail colour to its beauty range in 2021. The appeal is the colour itself. These are shades mixed by houses that have spent a century deciding exactly which red is their red.

There is also the simple pleasure of it. Choosing from a wall of those bottles is a different start to an appointment than pointing at a plastic swatch ring.

What happens in the appointment

  1. Cleaning and shaping. Polish shows every flaw underneath it. Your technician tidies the cuticle, shapes the nail and smooths the surface first.
  2. Choosing the shade. You pick at the polish wall. If you are torn between two, ask to see both on a nail.
  3. Base, colour, top. A base coat, then two thin coats of colour, then a top coat. Thin coats dry harder and chip less than one thick one.
  4. Drying. Regular polish dries in the air. This is the part that cannot be rushed, and it is a good reason to order a drink from the café.

Choose regular polish if you like to change colour every week, if you have an event and want one exact shade, or if your nails need a break from gel. Choose gel if you want to forget about your nails for the rest of the month.

Making it last

Regular polish is softer than gel for the first day. A few habits help:

  • Keep your hands out of hot water for a few hours after your appointment.
  • Wear gloves for washing up.
  • Use cuticle oil daily. Dry nails flex more, and flexing chips polish.
  • If a tip chips, a single thin layer of clear top coat at home will hold it until your next visit.

Your technician will go through aftercare with you before you leave.

Booking

Premium Regular Polish is on the services page with every other price. You can book online or walk in when a technician is free. Lavande is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 AM to 8 PM.

Common questions.

Where can I get a Hermès or Chanel manicure in Makati?

Lavande Nails & Café in Legazpi Village, Makati offers Premium Regular Polish using nail polish from Hermès and Chanel. It is on the 2nd floor of Manila Bankers Prosperity Tower, 110 Legazpi Street, open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 AM to 8 PM.

How much is a Hermès or Chanel manicure at Lavande?

Premium Regular Polish with Hermès or Chanel is ₱2,300 for a manicure or a pedicure, and ₱4,000 for both together. Removal of an existing set starts at ₱200 and nail art starts at ₱50 per nail.

How long does regular polish last compared with gel?

Regular polish usually looks its best for about five to seven days on the hands and longer on the toes. Gel polish is cured under a lamp and typically lasts two to three weeks. Regular polish is the easier one to change, because it comes off at home with ordinary remover.

Is Hermès and Chanel polish gel?

No. The Hermès and Chanel polishes used at Lavande are regular nail lacquers that dry in the air. They are not cured under a UV or LED lamp. If you want a gel finish, ask for Premium Gel Polish, which is ₱1,500.

Can I choose my own shade?

Yes. The bottles are displayed on the polish wall in the nail room, and you choose in person. Shades change as new collections arrive, so it is worth looking at the wall even if you already have a colour in mind.

Why does it cost more than gel polish?

The price reflects the polish and the time. Designer lacquer costs far more per bottle than salon gel, and regular polish needs careful cleaning, thin coats and proper drying time between them to look right. Premium Gel Polish at Lavande is ₱1,500 and lasts longer between visits.
